With Breeze Association, you can track owner violations; for example, garbage accumulating outside the trash can or a lawn that needs to be mowed. After you complete the setup, you can add violations to owner records.

Before you can enter violations, you need to perform the following setup:

When you add a violation record, you select a Status, a Category, and a Violation template.

If these items are not set up, you cannot create violation records.

Go to Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists.

Click the Violation Categories tab.

Click Add Row and enter the first violation category.

Continue entering categories until the list is complete.

Click Save.

Violations statuses determine the violation workflow at your company. There is a default list of statuses, but you should check it and modify it as needed.

Go to Admin > Toolbox > Custom Lists.

Click the Violation Statuses tab.

You can edit the status names as needed.

To add a new status, click Add Row.

Click Save.

At the property level, you set up violation templates -- the names of specific violations.

To add a violation template, go to the Property screen and click the Violations Setup tab.

If this is an initial violation setup, you need to manually enter the number of templates you want to create.

For each template, select a Category and enter the violation name in the Violation field. If you enter text in the Description field, it will appear in the Notes field of a violation record.

Click Save.

If you have already set up templates, click the Edit icon.

The screen changes to Edit mode.

You can change anything on the screen. When you are finished, click Save.
