Typically, when you add a property, you link it to a bank account and you are done. If you need to change the bank setup for a single property, you can do it on the Property page.
If you need to edit the bank setup for a number of properties at once, you can use the Bulk function. For example:
You started Breeze by converting a legacy database in which the properties were not linked to bank accounts. As a result, in the Breeze database, none of the properties are linked.
Your business opens a new bank account, and you want all your existing properties linked to it, so you have to change the setup for all of them.
We'll show both scenarios below.
Linking Unlinked Properties to a Bank Account (Conversion Scenario)
Go to Admin > Toolbox > Link Bank and Property. Click Display.
The top part of the screen is a filter. If you leave it blank, Breeze will display all the properties that are not linked to a bank account.
Complete the setup for each property. Select a bank account and a cash account. Specify if this is the Primary bank account or the Deposit account. You can copy the setup from one row to the next.
Click Save when you are done.
Changing the Bank Setup for Multiple Properties
Go to Admin > Toolbox > Link Bank and Property. Select Show Properties Linked to Bank Account and click Display. Breeze shows all the properties with an existing bank setup.
You can change the setup line by line, or you can copy the setup from one row to the next.
Click Save when you are done.
