Breeze features batch processing. Instead of creating individual transactions, you create them in a group, giving you additional accounting controls and ensuring greater accuracy. When you first create a batch, it's unposted -- the transactions do not affect the general ledger or sub-ledgers and can be reviewed and edited. When you post the batch, the transactions hit the ledgers.
Typically, after you create a batch, you review it and post it. But in some cases, you might save the batch without posting it; or, in other cases, a Breeze function will create an unposted batch. Use the following procedures to locate unposted batches and post them.
To locate unposted batches
Go to Accounting > Batches.
You can use the Status column to locate any unposted batches.
You can also filter for unposted batches, by opening the Filter and changing the Status field to Unposted.
Click Apply. The Batches screen only displays unposted batches.
To post a batch
Locate the batch you want to post and select it. The Batch screen opens.
You can review the transactions in the batch one at a time by selecting them, or you can run the Batch Report by clicking the Report button at the top of the screen.
When you are ready to post the batch, click the Post button.
