Owners can set up recurring payments on CondoCafe; for example, an owner can set up an automatic withdrawal to pay rent on the 1st of every month.
In Breeze, you can set parameters for recurring payments: the days of the month when payments are accepted and the type of payment allowed.
To set options for recurring payments at the property level
Open the Property screen.
Scroll down and select the Recurring Payments tab.
Click the Edit icon (the pencil).
Complete the screen.
Start Day Stop Day Day Range | Enter a Start Day and a Stop Day to set the days of the month for recurring payments. Typically, you would want owners to make recurring payments at the beginning of the month and for a number of days afterward. |
Enable Monthly Selection | Yes - Owners can select which months the payment will occur. For example, an owner might set up a quarterly payment that happens in January, April, July, and October. No - Owners can only set up a payment that recurs every month. The default is No. |
Enable Pay What I Owe Payments | If Yes, owners can set up recurring payments that pay rent and any other charges that are due at that time. |
Allow Max Amount Less than Lease Charges (PWIO) | This option works with the Pay What I Owe option and allows owners to set up recurring payments with a maximum amount that is lower than the sum of their monthly charges; for example, a roommate could enter an amount equal to half of the monthly amount. |
Enable Fixed Payment | If Yes, owners can set up a payment for a fixed amount. |
If both payment types are enabled, owners have a choice -- they can set up Fixed Payments or Pay What I Owe Payments. If one is enabled and the other isn't, owners can only set up one type.
If both are set to No, owners cannot set up recurring payments.
