Late fees are set up at the property level and the owner level. When you add an owner, the property-level setup is transferred to the owner record, and you can modify it there, if needed. The actual late fees are based on the owner-level settings.
If you change the late fee setup at the property level, the change is not passed automatically to existing owners. The following procedure allows you to copy changes down to existing owners.
To copy the late fee setup from the property-level setup down to owners
Go to Admin > Toolbox > Copy Late Fee Setup.
Select a property.
You can leave the Owners field blank, to copy the setup for all the owners at the property, or you can select the specific owners who should get the late fee setup.
Click Copy Late Fees. A confirmation message appears.
Click Confirm. The late fee setup is copied over.
