If a rentable item becomes unusable, you can mark it as unrentable. The item no longer appears in lookups and cannot be assigned to an owner.
Note: You can delete rentable items but only if there are no transactions tied to them.
If they have been rented, and there are transactions associated with them, they cannot be deleted from the database. Instead, you must mark them as unrentable.
To mark a rentable item as unrentable
Open the property record.
Select the Rentable Items tab.
Click the Edit icon.
Locate the rentable item that can no longer be used.
Select the Unrentable checkbox.
Click Save.
The item no longer appears in lookups and cannot be assigned to an owner.
