You can import Breeze data from an Excel spreadsheet, saving time and effort.
1. Go to Admin> Import Data.
2. Click Units as the type of data you are going to import.
3. Click the Export Template button.
4. Save the template on your local computer or device.
5. Open the template in Excel.
The screenshot shows the template for Units.
6. Complete a row for each object you want to import.
The Excel spreadsheet has three tabs: TemplateFile, Sample, and Tips.
TemplateFile: Enter your data in this tab.
Sample: View sample data (i.e. what a completed template will look like).
Tips: View an explanation of each column in the spreadsheet, for example, Property, Unit_Code, etc.
Note: The sections Rent Stabilized and after on the template relate to New York properties only. If the property is not rent-stabilized enter 0 for no in that column and or leaev it blank and leave the other columns blank. If there is an error message regarding rent stabilized, double-check these sections are completed correctly.
7. Save the template.
8. Import the template to Breeze. You can drag and drop the file onto the Breeze screen, or you can browse from Breeze and select the file.
