If you add additional information to a property's address, for example, a building number, the mapping function can be confused and place the property at the wrong location. This is true for both the Dashboard and CondoCafe.
Yardi Breeze leverages Google Maps functionality. "Additional information" refers to anything that does not appear in the Google search when you first enter the address.
In the following sections, we'll show an original address and an altered one, and where they appear on the Dashboard map.
Original Address
The original address is 1150 South Lipan Street, Denver, CO.
On the map, the property appears at the correct location.
Address with Additional Information
In this example, we add "Building 1" to the address.
On the map, the property now appears in a different location -- the wrong location.
If you need to add additional address information (for example, "Building 1") you can add it to the Notes field.
Adding it here will not affect the mapping function, and the property will appear in the correct location.
