This release is focused on owner handling and enhanced functionality.
We have added the ability to Pay Management Fees. You can have Breeze calculate management fees and pay them over to your property management company.
Taxes per Canadian Province have been added to Breeze Condo. Breeze automatically adds taxes to charges and payables where applicable.
The Properties screen has been updated to include CondoCafe. Users will be able to add their property to CondoCafe so that owners will have the ability to securely log in to their Resident Portal and make online fee payments and create maintenance requests.
We have enhanced the unit sale functionality to include Rentable Items with the sale if desired.
We have added flex fields on the Other Info tab of the Owner screen that can be customized for collecting information such as references, guarantors, bank, children, ages, pets, vehicle information, and/or driver's license number.
We updated some of the accounting features as well. You can now re-class payables made in past periods -- the system creates a journal entry to move the funds from one expense account to another. Also, instead of creating a new journal entry from scratch, you can now copy an existing one (that's similar to the one you want to create) and then edit the details as needed. You can also print the JE as a report and save it for your records.
We made several changes to our reporting features. Now, when you set up a monthly report packet for a property, you can set up different filters for each report in the packet.
The Budget Comparison report now includes a section for Cash accounts. And you can include Balance Sheet accounts on the report if needed.
Users can now customize the dashboard. They can set the order of widgets or view the calendar by week or month.
On the Owner screen, users can now click the Outstanding Charges label, which takes them to the Unpaid Charges tab.
Lastly, we’ve made some visual changes in Breeze, including changes to the font and icons.
